The Kindest Dog in the World Here is a photo of me, Mark Pickard, with our family dog, Sara-chan. Sara is a Golden Retriever and she is certainly a lovely looking dog.

Golden Retrievers are rather large dogs, and people are often intimidated by their big size. However, Golden Retrievers make for wonderful pets because they are very mild in manner. Not only that, they are loving in nature. As it turns out, our Golden Retriever, Sara, is without a doubt the kindest dog in the world. With patient and proper training she became an extremely well behaved dog. I love spending time with her every day. I call it Sara time.
