New 7-ELEVEN Convenience Store in the Nishi District of Naha, Okinawa

There's a new 7-ELEVEN Convenience Store in the Nishi District of Naha City. It's very near to my work at Senmon Gakkou LIFE Jr. College. The Grand Opening is/was today (2020.01.16). 7-ELEVEN had not operated in Okinawa until 2019 - believe it or not. Now, they are opening new stores all of Okinawa.

Some of my students and I went to check it out during lunchtime. I bought a smoke salmon and cream cheese sandwich, which I haven't eaten in years. I also bought Kara-age Chicken and some snacks.

The location of this particular 7-ELEVEN is in the exact same place that a Family Mart Convenience Store used to be. There are still three other Family Mart stores within a short walk from my work.
