Mr. Mark Pickard

My name is Mark Pickard. I am an American. I grew up in Hawaii. However, I have been living in Okinawa, Japan for over 17 years. I loved to Japan in the year 2000. I am a permanent resident of Japan. I am happily married. My wife and I have two daughters. My daughters are ages 15 and 11. We are pet owners. We have a dog, a cat, and some fish.

I work at LIFE Jr. College. LIFE Jr. College is an accredited, two-year, post-secondary, academic institution. LIFE Jr. College (a.k.a., L.I.F.E. Jr. College) is located in Naha City. Naha is the capital of Okinawa Prefecture. Okinawa is the southernmost prefecture in Japan.

At LIFE Jr. College, I have several jobs and responsibilities including - but not limited to - Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Study Abroad Coordinator, Marketing, Website Designer, Social Media Marketing, and more.
