My name is Mark Pickard. I am an American. I grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. However, I have been living in Okinawa, Japan since the Year 2000. I am a permanent resident of Japan. I am happily married. My wife is Japanese. We have two wonderful children together. We also have pets.

I work full-time at LIFE Jr. College. LIFE Jr. College is an accredited, two-year, post-secondary, academic institution. LIFE Jr. College is located in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture. At LIFE Jr. College, I am an English Language Teacher. Also, I am the coordinator of study abroad programs. Additionally, I contribute to marketing and public relations. Moreover, I update the college's website and social networking sites.
