I teach English as a foreign language at a vocational college here in Japan. The college I teach at is called LIFE Jr. College. At LIFE Jr. College, we follow the standard Japanese university grading system, which is a four-scale grading system as follows:

80 to 100% 優 (Yu; Excellent) 70-79% 良 (Ryo; Good)) 60-69% 可 (Ka: Average/Pass) <60% 不可 (Fuka; Fail)

I enjoy giving my students 優 (Yu; Excellent) grades the most. Such students are wonderful students.

You can find more information about the educational grading system on this website as well as on Wikipedia.

FYI, I absolutely love Wikipedia!
