Happy Chinese New Year 2018! 新年好 / 新年好
The Chinese or Lunar New Year in 2018 starts on February 16th. And, so, it is also the start of the Year of the Dog.

This is a photo of a ceramic dog that was given to me at LIFE Jr. College by Hatsugano-sensei. Hatsugano-sensei is the dean of academic affairs.
Are you interested in the Chinese Zodiac? I think it is quite interesting. Here is some information about people who where born in the Year of the Dog:
Numbered as the 11th animal in Chinese zodiac, the Dog represents loyalty and honesty.
Those who are born in the Year of the Dog possess the best traits of humanity. These people are honest, friendly, faithful, loyal, smart, straightforward, venerable, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
On the negative side, people born in the Year of the Dog are likely to be self-righteous, cold, terribly stubborn, slippery, critical of others, and not good at social activities.
