Earlier this week my eldest daughter had her Entrance Ceremony at Kaiho Senior High School here in Okinawa Prefecture. She's a 10th Grader now. And, she turns 16 in a few weeks. She isn't my little baby girl anymore :(

Previously, I thought Kaiho Senior High School was one of the best high schools here in Okinawa Prefecture, but recently the dean at my college and several other teachers have told me that it is the best high school in Okinawa.

Also, I was surprised during the entrance ceremony that there were only 5 classes (homerooms) entering the school. Most high schools normally have 8, 9 or 10 classes every year.

The average class size in Japan seems to be 35-36 students, so only about 175 were accepted to Kaiho High School.

Please be sure to check out the attached photos. I'm incredibly proud of her and how hard she has worked.
