I recently completed another guitar repair and restoration project. This particular project was on a 1990s Fernandes Precision (PB) type electric bass guitar. It took me a very long time to complete this particular repair and restoration project primarily because just about all of the guitar's hardware and electronics were not any good and needed replacements. It took me quite awhile to find all of the replacement parts. However, this bass guitar is now completely repaired and restored with some modifications. In fact, I believe this bass is possibly sounds and plays better than when it was brand new. I plan on keeping it for my personal use for the time being at least until I find a better PB-type of bass guitar with a passive pickup. Besides, it is the only Fernandes guitar that I currently own.
